Cheer News

October Update –

·         The routine is coming along nicely!!! Thanks for having your girls at every practice!

·         Halloween Party is coming up here very quickly. If you have any ideas for the party, please feel free to share them with Tori!

·         Tumbling practice is mandatory – the girls have many new skills to learn for competitions, please make sure they’re getting to tumbling.

·         Team fees are going to be $650 for the season, includes all uniform pieces, competitions, etc. We will order sweat pants and jackets on an optional basis, so please let Tori know if interested.

·         Payments are due. Keep sending in your payments to the Youth Center.

September Update –

·         Regular practices start September 1^st :

o   Tuesdays and Thursdays 5-7 pm

·         Tumbling practice for August 31 and Sept 7 will be at 5:45-7 for Diamond Team members only!

·         Normal tumbling times will pick back up September 14 at regular times.

August Update –

·         Band in the Park:

o   Meet at Laurel Park (Katella & Bloomfield) 4 pm -  perform at 5pm

o   You may leave after performance

o   More info to come Thursday

·         No tumbling practice for the rest of August, and only Thursday cheer practices 5-6 for Band in the Park.

·         No Practice the last week of August. We will pick back up tumbling and regular cheer practice, 2 days a week, on August 31^st for tumbling and September 1^st for Cheer. Please email me (diamondelitecheer@gmail.com) what day and time you attend tumbling so that I can make sure I have staff for you in September.

·         Payments are due. Keep sending in your payments to the Youth Center.

·         If you are not paid by September 1st we will have to reconsider the Diamond Elite team this season.

July/August Update –

·         Parent Meeting! August 6, 6 pm All Diamond Elite participants need to have at least one parent in attendance! Discussing Band in the Park, August practices, uniforms fittings, etc. Bring your fundraising and team activity ideas!

·         Bonfire cancelled. New date to come soon. We will discuss at Parent Meeting.

·         Participant Agreement and Physicals are due! Please get them in soon, we don’t want to have your cheerleader sit out because of paperwork!

·         We have OPEN ENROLLMENT. Please bring in friends and family to join our great cheer program * Remember that we are offering  1 FREE month if you bring a friend that signs up for Diamond Elite!!!!

June Update –

• Participant Agreement and Physicals are due this month! Please get them in soon, we don’t want to have your cheerleader sit out because of paperwork!

• Make sure to turn in your tumbling day request form – handed out at practice this week. From now on you will be required to pick a day for tumbling, either Mon, Wed, or both, but you cannot change your date, if you need to change days please speak with Coach Christina. This is to ensure that we have the correct coach/student ratio for each class. If you switch up days each week, you put our ratio at risk and the class will not perform to the best of its ability.

• Check the Calendar section of the website for new updates to the summer events – New Cheer Clinic coming, date change for the Bonfire, and date change Augusts’ Band in the Park.

• 4^th of July – we will be open the week of 4^th of July, please come to your scheduled practice time.
